Just yesterday i went to this place called Bari-Uma Ramen located at Lippo Mall Puri. Bari-Uma Ramen is originally came all the way from Hiroshima, Japan. In Indonesia it self, their first outlet is the one at Citywalk Sudirman, and the other outlet is at Setiabudi. Their Lippo Mall Puri outlet not too spacious but sure it's comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your soup of ramen. It can hold up to 50-60 people at the same time. Their interior got the ambience of japanese caligraphy and hanging light so it's not feel like the place is that small.

Bari-Uma is a little bit different with other ramen house. While others came with a modern taste and modern flavor, they keep it original and serving tradionally. But, i'm not going to talk about their ramen. I'm going to talk about their newest menu called Abura Soba.

Well, for some people might quite know about this Abura Soba dish. Abura Soba is sort of like soupless ramen, and taste identically like the soup one. So Bari-Uma having this Abura Soba menu from 1 October - 31 December. So, it's limited and it won't be last any longer. Their choice of Abura Soba menu are: Torotama Abura Soba (Pork), Torotama Abura Soba (Chicken), Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Pork), Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Chicken).

Torotama Abura Soba (Pork): IDR 64k
"Nori" Seaweed, "Torotama" Simmering Egg, "Shiraga Negi" White Spring Onion, "Kyuri" Japanese Cucumber, Home Made Chasiu and Ramen.

Torotama Abura Soba (Chicken): IDR 64k
"Nori" Seaweed, "Torotama" Simmering Egg, "Shiraga Negi" White Spring Onion, "Kyuri" Japanese Cucumber, Home Made Chicken, and Ramen.

So, i thought because their name is Abura Soba, so they will use a Soba noodle. Turns out i was wrong, they use a thin ramen noodle. Which is great because it's different with other Abura Soba places. This is the Original version of their Abura Soba. What they say is right, it taste really traditional and they really keep it simple with this dish. It's really good. Both Chicken and Pork meat is tender and juicy. Came with a big portion. I love how they cook their ramen, it's not too hard but not too soft. When all of them are mixing together, it's just makes a perfect Abura Soba. The waitress say you have to mix 10 times to have a perfect Soba on your own.

Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Pork): IDR 69k

Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Chicken): IDR 69k
"Nori" Seaweed, "Torotama" Simmering Egg, "Shiraga Negi" White Spring Onion, "Kyuri" Japanese Cucumber, Home Made Chicken, Kara Sauce, and Ramen.

So, the different between Torotama Abura Soba and Torotama Abura Kara Soba are while Torotama Abura Soba is using original flavor, Torotama Abura Kara Soba will give you a kick of spicy in your mouth. Because in Japan, Kara means spicy. I really love the kind of spicy their using here, it's really kicking your tastebud. But, i get overwhelmed when i ate this because it's too spicy. Don't judge me but i really, really, love spicy food. But after i get use to the spicy, it's became normal for me. Again, the portion they serve here is really big. Both Pork and Chicken meat is really tender and super juicy. Not too oily which is good, because it can makes your tongue feel greasy.

Overall, i really love thei Abura Soba here. It's different with what i usually ate at other places. You guys all need to give it a try for this Abura Soba because it really is super good!

It feels like forever since i upload anything into my blog. So yes i apology for that! But, i bring something for this post. So, we all know that Lippo Mall Puri have so many great restaurant such as PAPAJO, Fctry Bistro and you name it the rest! Been eyeeing this restaurant called Trattoria Cucina Italiana located precisely beside Fctry Bistro at Lippo Mall Puri. What i heard from my friend that they serve pizza and other italian food, so i just straight check this restaurant!

And yes, Trattoria is not a newcomer since they already established in 2002. Their first restaurant is in Bali. This place is dominant with big window, minimalist, wood and stuff which i super love! I love everything that is simple but eyecatching at the same time. What i love about this place more is they all dominant with glass window so the sun can easily come to inside which is perfect for taking food-photos! I wouldn't say this is a big restaurant but you can fit up to 50 people at the same time.

Complimentary Bread

Complimentary Bruschetta

They have second floor too. I think the point of the second floor is so people can have a more private place if they're having special occasion (like birthday dinner or family dinner).

Pizza Magnifica: IDR 92k
(Three kind of pizza in one, Calzone, Capricciosa, Bianca)
Let me brief each one of the pizza. Calzone is Pocket pizza stuffed with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, mushroom, italian sausages and ham. Capricciosa is Tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, italian sausage, ham and mix peppers. and last Bianca is Mozzarella, Cherry Tomato, parma ham and rucola salad.

So this one is Capriciossa. I can taste all the ingridient and yes they do generous with the filling. I do like this pizza, But somehow, it's just taste decent. I felt like something is missing. I feel like they need to bring this pizza to a whole new level.

Capriciossa

This is Bianca. I'm so confused because i've never eat pizza with a salad. Don't get me wrong, i love salad and i love pizza. So when they mix together, it's better be good! Turns out, it didn't weird like what i tought. In fact, i love this type of pizza! You get the fresh salad with the soft thin pizza that have ham all over it and when you eat it, BAM so magical!

Bianca al Crudo

I feel like each kind of this pizza has their own unique style. This one is called pocket pizza because it's wrap like a crepes! I like this one. The ham and mozarella and the thin crust pizza is well mixing together.

Kiss of the Dragon: IDR 45k
(Dragon fruit juice, Peach syrup, with solid caramel)

I get sugar rush when i drink this! On the inside, it's dragonfruit juice with a hint of peach syrup. And if you looking at the top of the glass, yes it's the solid caramel. When you drink from it, it's super good! You get the sweet caramel and the sour dragonfruit. Perfect balance!

Water Sour Mint: IDR 55k
(Watermelon, sugar, lime, mint leave, ginger ale)

It's no secret that our tongue is developing into european, american, and asian dishes. We all get used to it. I would say Trattoria is trying to bring you the real taste of Italian dishes to jakarta. I love the food here, the service is really helpful, and the place is so comfy! Definitely will going back here to get those pasta!

It's not really usual to find a coffee place that happens in puri area. Moreover, i wouldn't say this is a coffee shop because this is a house that turn into a coffee place, So i would say this is a coffee house. Simetri Coffee Roasters is the latest joint in Puri Indah, Kembangan - Jakarta Barat area. More to be exact it's at Jl. Kembang Abadi 7, Blok A13 No.15, just use your gps and you'll be fine!

You will feel homey ambience once you get here because the fact it's in a house and the interior that is really eye reliever will make you stay longer! If i go to a place or a cafe, i will choose the comfy one to sit. But in here, all of the seat spot are really cozy and every spot has their own way to make you comfortable enough to enjoy your day!

For all over impression for this place, this is a place for you to take your OOTD'S pict! With minimalist thing like white wall and wood floor , this is a good place for you all the OOTD'S lover!

I really wanted to take a pict inside of it, but everytime i want to take a pict, people will come over and over. This place is really full packed! All of the spot were taken as they sit in every seated place. I don't really take a pict when people sit there. Beside it's not polite, i want to respect their privacy and their quality time. Pfft, what can i do? Just come over peeps and experience yourself!

Potato and Fish: IDR 45k
(Smoke salmon potato rostie with avocado salsa and mesclun salad)
It's not really usual for a coffee place to sell this kind of food. The presentation is really eye catching and unique. The concept of this food is really interesting! At first, i was like "The hell is this?" But then the aftertaste got me like "UUGGHH YASSS!!". This is one is a real bomb! The rostie wasn't ruberry. Salmon taste okay. I don't know, there's just something that played in my mouth. The sweet, savory, sour, all in one!

Gyutan Don: IDR 55k
(50g Australian beef tongue marinated in gyu town sauce served over ricen and scrambled egg)
You can never beat the classic Gyutan don! This is one is great. Great taste and they're well marinated. BUT, it's so rubbery i even chew it a few times and it's still there! Hoping they make an improvement because this is a great one!

Breakie Burger: IDR 60k
(Grill oz beef patty, eggs, cheese, and side of fries)
This one is a great burger. However, i don't really like when something is savory but there's a sweet thing in it. It just ruin everything. I don't really like the caramelized onion. I do like it but it doesn't suit this burger that well; at least for me. The overall was okay, nothing wow-ed me that much.

Pan Egg Chorizo: IDR 49k
(Spanish pan egg and pepper chorizo sausage with roasted potato)
This one is a pass too. Don't get me wrong, they're really generous by giving all of the ingridients in it. The bell pepper, potato, and chorizo too and this one look really beautiful! But, the chorizo is REALLY salty. I just can't eat it, even when you eat it all gathered with the potato and bell pepper, it's still salty as well. It's still taste strange for me and weird.

Croque Madam: IDR 45k
(Ham and cheese between toaste topped with sunny egg and side of greens)
This one is really tasty! I like how the cheese melted inside of it and fit perfectly to the ham and to the toast as well. Perfect for everyday breakfast!

Smores Mocha: IDR 38k(right) & Taro Latte: IDR 38k(left)

Despite all of the tasty and not-tasty food here, i still want to grab the coffee! Little story, i ordered Green tea latte for me because i craving for green tea latte at that time. As i a took a pick outside, i came back with an uneven green tea and latte art and it's spill all over the mug. Turns out my friend accidentaly did it (Not on purpose for sure!). So i guess i just need to let it go. It taste exactly the same as i made the one at home, lol.

I can see myself spending my time here with my friend and grab a coffee here! Overall, the pricewise is really affordable. I mean for this kind of dish, it'll cost you a quite fortune if you eat it at other place. Tastewise? Some of i do like and others just not suit my tongue. But, i definitely will come back to try another dish!
