Just yesterday i went to this place called Bari-Uma Ramen located at Lippo Mall Puri. Bari-Uma Ramen is originally came all the way from Hiroshima, Japan. In Indonesia it self, their first outlet is the one at Citywalk Sudirman, and the other outlet is at Setiabudi. Their Lippo Mall Puri outlet not too spacious but sure it's comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your soup of ramen. It can hold up to 50-60 people at the same time. Their interior got the ambience of japanese caligraphy and hanging light so it's not feel like the place is that small.


Bari-Uma is a little bit different with other ramen house. While others came with a modern taste and modern flavor, they keep it original and serving tradionally. But, i'm not going to talk about their ramen. I'm going to talk about their newest menu called Abura Soba.

Well, for some people might quite know about this Abura Soba dish. Abura Soba is sort of like soupless ramen, and taste identically like the soup one. So Bari-Uma having this Abura Soba menu from 1 October - 31 December. So, it's limited and it won't be last any longer. Their choice of Abura Soba menu are: Torotama Abura Soba (Pork), Torotama Abura Soba (Chicken), Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Pork), Torotama Abura Kara Soba (Chicken).



Torotama Abura Soba (Pork): IDR 64k

So, i thought because their name is Abura Soba, so they will use a Soba noodle. Turns out i was wrong, they use a thin ramen noodle. Which is great because it's different with other Abura Soba places. This is the Original version of their Abura Soba. What they say is right, it taste really traditional and they really keep it simple with this dish. It's really good. Both Chicken and Pork meat is tender and juicy. Came with a big portion. I love how they cook their ramen, it's not too hard but not too soft. When all of them are mixing together, it's just makes a perfect Abura Soba. The waitress say you have to mix 10 times to have a perfect Soba on your own.

So, the different between Torotama Abura Soba and Torotama Abura Kara Soba are while Torotama Abura Soba is using original flavor, Torotama Abura Kara Soba will give you a kick of spicy in your mouth. Because in Japan, Kara means spicy. I really love the kind of spicy their using here, it's really kicking your tastebud. But, i get overwhelmed when i ate this because it's too spicy. Don't judge me but i really, really, love spicy food. But after i get use to the spicy, it's became normal for me. Again, the portion they serve here is really big. Both Pork and Chicken meat is really tender and super juicy. Not too oily which is good, because it can makes your tongue feel greasy.

Overall, i really love thei Abura Soba here. It's different with what i usually ate at other places. You guys all need to give it a try for this Abura Soba because it really is super good!

It's been a while since senopati has a new place, especially in fine dining theme. But recently, a new fine dining place just open called Sofia at The Gunawarman. I don't know whether it's called Sofia or The Gunawarman since the board only says 'The Gunawarman'. But whatever it is, this place is really gorgeous!


In the front, you will get the european big building sense. Big wall and high pillars. And also big windows. It's definitely not like in senopati area.


In the inside, they have a bar and a seated place. The seated only for coffee with a coffee table.



The thing is with this place is you really need to secure your place if you want to go here. I arrive at this place around 11 a.m and all the 'seated' got booked. So we only can seated at the Lounge place. And the waitress says we can only order starters or dessert. Okay, first of all we all hungry and wanted something to eat. Second of all, the lounge is not that small for we to have main course. But we all order main course anyway so we can eat, lol.

Egg Slut: IDR 90k

The burger for me is pretty okay. I love the juicy patty and it's super stuffed. But, i can't really feel the egg because i think it's already blended with the cheese and the honey butter. But i do feel the honey butter, and i love it!



4 FORMAGGI: IDR 140k

Yes this one is one of my recommended! I love all the cheese. I know it's pretty decent for pizza with cheese, but there's something about this pizza. They're really generous with the cheese. And for the pizza, it's not thin but it's pretty stuffed.



I super duper love this place, this place has an classy and good ambience around. For price, it's sure cost a fortune but it's not that expensive like what i tought. For foodwise, it's good but not that wow-ed me. I do have some issue with the waitress. The male waitress is really nice and super helpful. However the female waitress is kind of like confuse when we ask about something like asking for tissue or sauce.

There's this one female waitress, i'm not sure that she's a waitress or a supervisor since the uniform is different with others. So let me tell you a story! I wanted to take a pict of the ambience to share with all of you guys so you can get the bigger picture of this place. When i want to took the picture of this table set, the waitress suddenly change all of it like she want to re-organize it. I ask politely to take a picture first before it become messy. And her answer is : "Foto disana aja mas". I kinda shock and confuse. So i just awkwardly turn to take at the other place. Turns out there's old guy who wait for the table so he can sit at this place that i want to take the pict of the table. I understand if she want to hurry so the older guy who wait for the table can sit a.s.a.p. But i think she can be more polite to ask me or explain about it. Call me anything or i'm being over dramatic but seriously, learn some manner and explain bluntly to the customer. It's just makes me feel like i'm a stupid person and i don't feel great towards the old guy who wait for the table. It's a waste that you get a great place, great food, but a bad service. Hope they can fix it soon! But beside that, i want to come back to this place anytime soon!

For someone who know PIK area, they're mostly dominated with dessert and hangout place but not muchly like this place have. Warung Mevvah is the newcomers of PIK area. Obvious they're selling Ropang and Indomie stuff but with a touch of modern and unique style of theirs. And by their name too, this place have a sense like you're not eating this at Warung becasue the interior is just amaze me. Mevvah is like Mewah but the slank of it, so they want to make something unusual, like a goodplace or fancy place.


For the inside, they dominated with black and white stuff, and also wood table and chair. I could stay long here and chatting with my friend with comfort, of course! People might know that i'm such a weak for black and white interior so i find this place is really great place to hang out! So much excess of light from the outside, so if you can't stand a hot weather like me, i recommend you to sit a bit on the inside.


As this post written, they have not put the price tag on it. So i don't know the cost of each food. At the same time, they have this "Pay As You Like" promo. Eat whatever you want and pay like what you want! You don't have to worry about the price! The promo started from 8 - 15 May from 15.00 - 24.00. Yes, this is only one week promo. Next to the review!


Ropang Mevvah; Taro, Skippy Nutella, Matcha
Yup, i found it this ropang is just another usual ropang that you would find at other place and you definitely can make it by yourself. But i can't deny that i love the crunchy texture that they give with this ropang. I have one issue, by a glance, i definitely can see that the nutella is not nutella, it's ovomaltine. But the waitress insist that it is a nutella. I ate it and yup i was right, it's ovo. To be honest, i'm not mad at all. But what if you're telling other people wrong stuff? That's such a bummer. But who can't resist ovomaltine? The problem is, there's no ovomaltine on the menu. It's still a mistery.







Indomie Kuah Mevvah
I ask the waitress what's inside of it, they say they have special seasoning. So i trust them and hope to taste good. I added Telor Ayam, Sosis, Kornet to make it even good! When it came, it's super crowded with all the toppings. It taste like tom yum a little bit, and i like it. But it's not wow-ing me. It's not beyond my expectation but this is okay.



Indomie Ramadhan
"Opor Ayam + Ketupat Indomie"
I find it this is muchly taste like Kari Ayam Indomie flavor with an Opor Ayam in it. I already thinking about the real taste of opor ayam but they didn't gave me that thing.



I love indomie, it's everyone favorite! But when i tried all of this, it's just usual and i lost my appetite. Some of them already soggy due to overcook, some of them just did not beyond my expectation. To be "The Best Indomie In Town" this place definitely need to step their game up. Maybe some indomie of them did really a good job, but others is just another disappointment. I will update the price of each food! Thank you for reading :)
