So recently as you know JKTFOODBANG held they first meetup with the fellow foodies at Catappa Restaurant located at Grand Mercure Kemayoran. Some of you might not found a complete location address of Grand Mercure Kemayoran, because it's still new and fresh! It's the one that located at Jl. H Benyamin Sueb, not at ancol, since Grand Mercure have their franchise everywhere.

I'm really lucky to be invited and grow with this community and meet any other foodies friends.

So basically Catappa Restaurant is a buffet restaurant and have a a'la carte food too. So sorry for you guys because i'm not taking any interior picture because i'm too busy to take the buffet picture and the a'la carte food.

Seriously, they have variance dessert and everything is so good! I tried anything and it working well with my tongue.








 Beef Sirloin 220 gram: IDR 268k
This one is really fine for me, the beef is tenderly cook and the sauce is okay. I guess the sauce is blackpepper sauce cause i wasn't sure about it. But, little did i know; this is the best!




Buntut Mercon: IDR 135k
This one is really intimidating menu actually, because many restaurant use name Mercon because the spicy effect! Usually their food must be really spicy since indonesian people prefer spicy food. It comes with Oxtail, Rice, Cracker, and Soup.

Again, the oxtail is really soft and tender, it kinda spicy but it was tolerable (for a spicy lover!) The soup was okay.



Beef Udon: IDR 75k
Shoutout to all the udon lovers out there! This is a Traditional boiled japanese noodle with beef sliced, bean sprouts, caysim, and carrots served with oyster and soy sauce. So many ingridients yet so flavorful!




Chicken Kung Pao with Cashew Nut: IDR 70k
Wasn't quite surprise because they have this menu since their restaurant more chinese themes. This one is really generous, It's Wok fried diced boneless chicken with cashew nuts, dried chilli flakes and Kung Pao sauce served in potato basket. Really like this!



Maha Cipta Crunch BBQ Burger: IDR 88k
Never seen anything like this burger before at any burger places, look at the meat! So thick and juicy, and well marinate! Completed with Red cheddar cheese, caramelized onion ring, barbercue sauce, tomato, and lettuce on wheat bun. This is perfection!



I don't know what it's called and how much it is, but i believe it's called Mango Mousse. It's really soft and so spongy! The layer pudding mango on top not too sweet, and balanced the mousse on the second layer. In love with this!
