I think from the name itself you can already assume that this is a bakery store. Yes, you're right! Richmond cakery basically is a cakeshop and cupcake that sell a whole cake for birthday party or anything else you for custom order and slices cake too for dine in (and yes don't worry you can take the slices cake home too!).

Richmond is located at Elang Laut PIK. You can really spot them because there's so many sticker on the door.

As you walk in, you can see the mural art wall on the left side and it's pretty good since the art wall in the cozy corner.





The whole cake price is various, from 350k-725k for the cake they made and for custom cake you can directly ask them for the price. And for the slices cake the price range about 28k-40k. So many option for the slices cake they offer, they have Matcha, Nutella Peanut Butter, Ovomaltine, Red velvet, Choco cheese, Tiramisu, Mud cake and many else!! So many right?

Ovomaltine: IDR 35k
If you're following me on instagram, you can see that i make an ovomaltine toast, cause lately i've been craving for sweet and ovomaltine is the answer!

Back to main topic, so yes, i ordered the ovomaltine with a high expectation, because what could go wrong with using ovomaltine in a cake? But, i was wrong. The ovomaltine wasn't there. I can't taste any ovomaltine at all, i would name this as a usual chocolate that you can bought at another cakeshop.



Choco Cheese: IDR 35k

Ordered this because usually never could go wrong with Chocolate and Cheese! But.....another dissapointment happen. I ask my friend if there's something wrong with the cheese becaue it's so sour or it's just my tounge. But my friend feel the same about the cake so yeah...big no for me. But the bottom chocolate layer is fine for me.. i guess.



Tiramisu: IDR 30k

When i look at the cake and decided what to order, then this tiramisu came up and i just so startruck by it! I have a good feeling about this and..yes, i was right! The layer is so moist and you can really taste it as a sponge cake cause it's so soft and the cream not too sweet just perfect! And the whipcream on top? super love!


Behind the cake you can see my friend pouring down the tea. They have various flavor tea to offer by TWG Tea. So this place is really places to hangout with your friend for afternoon tea and cakes!

Kinda dissapointed with the ovomaltine because the it wasn't taste at all close to ovomaltine, and the choco cheese? No, thanks. But the tiramisu? Oh yes!! But this is really a good place to go with your friend.
