CHICKEN PAIKUT - KELAPA GADING, JAKARTA UTARA

Well, for kelapa gading area this place might not be new. But for me, it's really new since kelapa gading isn't my area. But, i know Chicken Paikut for a long time since this is always popping up in my univ bazaar, everytime. Chicken Paikut is actually located at Citraland Mall, Supermall Karawaci, and last is Kelapa Gading. And the first restaurant concept is the one at Kelapa Gading. It's not really hard to find this place and it's all thank God to the technology we have!
For place, this isn't some kind of fancy place that you would meet in PIK or Senopati area. It's just a casual place for family or people who want to hang out in here. This place seated are around 40.
By the way, beside expanding Chicken Paikut into restaurant and bazaar. They expanding into selling frozen chicken paikut, so you can order it and they will send it to you! All of your craving for chicken paikut will be soon fulfilled! I already know that all of the person that i know is talking about how delicious it is and how affordable it is for univ student. And i'm so stubborn thinking that this is just another usual Chicken that you would find in another restaurant. But i'm definitely proved SO WRONG!
In the menu, you get several options from Combo 1 - Combo 7
Chicken Paikut Pahe : Chicken Paikut + Mineral Water = IDR 23k
Combo 1: Chicken Paikut Rice + Cold Drink = IDR 28k
Combo 2: Chicken Paikut + Cold Drink = IDR 33k
Combo 3: Chicken Paikut Fries + Cold Drink = 33k
Combo 4: Chicken Paikut Noodle + Cold Drink = 33k
Combo 5: Dancing Chicken Rice + Cold Drink = IDR 33k
Combo 6 : Kungfu Chicken Rice + Cold Drink = IDR 30k
Combo 7 : CP'S Wings 8 + Cold Drink = 40k
They served a'la carte menu too. For cold drinks option, you can choose Teh Botol, S-Tee, Lemon Tea, or Milo.
Combo 4: Chicken Paikut Noodle + Cold Drink = 33k
I tought the noodle would be like kinda basic noodle that will taste not good enough for me. Because it looks really plain and nothing in it. But, this one is a good noodle indeed. Even there's nothing in it, you will still get savory from the noodle and if you eat it with the chicken, the sensation will be more than ever!
Combo 5: Dancing Chicken Rice + Cold Drink = IDR 33k
I honestly don't know why they name their chicken rice dancing. Because when you hear dancing, you will automatically think that the taste will be sweet and sour or anything else. But i can't blame this one too. Basically, what you will get is rice with the sweet minced meat and chicken paikut of course. The thing is, i think the minced meat is supposedly to be in the noodle but they put in the rice, and for me it's a YES! I always love sweet food like this one, and the savory chicken makes it all dancing in my mouth. Okay, now i get it whay it called Dancing Chicken Rice!
This kungfu chicken is really familiar for all of you who likely to eat in chinese restaurant. Kungfu Chicken is the other name of Kungpao Chicken, the one is sweet and savory flavor. I don't know why but this one is like the one in my favorite restaurant! I love the filling, their really generous! This is one of my recommended menu!
Burning Chicken Rice: IDR 28k
This is their new menu. The sauce is Spicy Mayo. But this one is different. When i dip the chicken in it, it's 'normal' spicy, but you get the burning aftertaste. And this is my favorite! Ps: this is might not be new if you read it on April or so.
Snowing Chicken Rice: IDR 28k
Unfortunately, this is my least favorite. Don't get me wrong, the sauce is cream cheese and i love the sauce and the chicken too! No doubt. But, when they get mix, it feels strange, especially if you eat it with rice. It doesnt blend well with the chicken. If this is the sauce that they use on pasta, i will super love this!
Yes, that's all for today review. No wonder everytime they are in bazaar, it will always crowded. Now i know why! Because they're so tasty, not to mention all of them are affordable! Having so much great time here, and i will definitely back soon to get all of them!
