BRADLEY'S BRITISH TEA HOUSE - SENOPATI, JAKARTA SELATAN

I always love dessert and tea, who doesn't? I think tea and dessert are a good companion for afternoon chit-chat with your friends. I found this not so new places called Bradley's Tea House as it's kinda seems to be around Senopati for months, but i haven't notice it yet since their place is not really visible for people to notice. But i decided to try it anyway.
First impression of looking at this place, Yes, it's really small but it feels like home to me. For car park itself, it can fit up to 4 car. But be prepare because the guard will tell you to move your car if people want to go out since there's no drop key valet.

The place dominant with white and nude wall and for the floors really great with wood. But i don't know what the owner think because the other side is wood floor and the other side is usual floor.
They have two section here, one is for the non-smoking and for smoking area. and down below for the non-smoking. I think the smoking place is more cooler than the non-smoking one.
Good news is, even their smoking, the smoke itself won't be go out to the non-smoking room which is nice.
For the menu itself, as their names, it sell mostly british food. For food, they sale both a'la carte and dessert Sets 1, 2 , or 3. For sets, it cost you IDR 150k-215k and for A'la carte from IDR 35k-75k. For drink, they sell coffee and tea any other beverages from price range IDR 30k-63k.

For this sets, they have Scone, Egg Salad Sandwich, Garlic Shrimp with Zucchini, Victorian Sponge Cake, Fruit Tarlet.
Scone (light and soft bread with a biscuit like texture, best served with whipped cream or jam)
I like this scone texture, yes it right. It's like biscuit but the thicker version. I dipped with whipped cream for sweet flavor and dipped to jam for a sour and sweet flavor. I think this is a good example of light dessert food.
Egg Salad Sandwich (a sandwich filling with hard boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, mince garlic and chives)
I don't really like this one. First of all, i taste the egg but it's not really taste like egg anymore, it's just the egg texture that i feel. Second, i don't like the mayonnaise, mustard, and other compososition combine together. Maybe it's just not for my tongue or me.
Garlic Shrimp with Zucchini (shrimp with crushed garlic, butter and slices of zhuccini)
I really like this one especially when it comes to shrimp! But the portion was a bit disappointed. But the flavor was great tho.
Victorian Sponge Cake (Sponge cake filled with fresh strawberries, a whipped cream and powdered sugar over the top)
'A victorian sponge was the favorite sponge cake of queen victoria', i couldn't agree more! Love the soft sponge texture from the sponge cake. The whipped cream sugar level was tolerate and perfect with the strawberry! Love it!
Fruit Tarlet (Sweet butter pastry shell filled with pastry cream and then covered with and assortment of fruits)
I like this one, it's all combining all the fruit that sweet and sour. The consistency of the pastry shell was ok.
Jasmine Green Fusion Tea: IDR 48k
First of all, this tea sets is really beautiful! You really feel like you're in a fancy british tea house.
I had a great time at Bradley's. They have a quality to sell their food since their food is really unique. But they need to improve their place and food to compete with others dessert cafe, especially in senopati area.
