I tought korean food will be soon gone away since it's already 2016. Because there's no such everlasting thing in food world, especially in indonesia. But i see a lot of korean restaurant newly open in 2016, especially in jakarta area. This is the newest joint korean food at PIK, Jakarta Utara called Noodle King. If you notice Shirokuma, you will notice Noodle King too because Noodle King just beside Shirokuma.


I was kinda expecting they sell like samgyeopsal or something grilled but i don't find it in here. Because as it's name, it's called Noodle King, so i guess they're mastered at noodle only. From outside, you will think that noodle king is a small place, but on the inside, this place have a big space.


I feel really cozy to eat in here because they provide nice chair and large table. And more important that space dining table between other dining table is wide enough so you can enjoy your food with your friend without anything interrupt you.


Really nice that they have dummy food on the centre of the room. I'm such a confuse person when i order something. Because i want to be so sure what i order, what do they look like, how big the portion is, etc and they provide it!


From the menu itself, it's dominant with many kind of noodle, from hot noodle to cold noodle (yes, actual cold noodle!) and other foods are like sweet and sour chicken, fried prawn mayonnaise, and of course all of them name in korea but i just forget how to spell it... Okay, i don't know what it's called! So just move on to my review, lol.


Jjajangmyeon: IDR 55.2k

From what they explained, they use freshly noodle everyday and it's homemade. The noodle texture kind of like pasta, it's chewy and fresh.

So, about this food. This is like what's everyone (including ALL of my friends) raving about. They talk about it like it's so good and stuff. And i'm here like, "this is not truly for me". I'm not hating it or liking it. The first one i ordered is kinda cold, so i think the taste is like gone too so i ordered another one. And yes, the flavor still the same. It's just me that don't like kind of this food. It's really weird since i love sweet food, like i will literaly pour sweet soy souce into every dish but i don't like this. But i think i can just judge it just by my perspective. You need to try this and prove me wrong!

In flavor wise, i really feel the texture of bean paste, and the meat. Oh, did i mention they using pork in this food? So it's not halal guys. This food is for 1-2 person.


This is just another decent deep fried shrimp. I think it's too much flour and i can't barely feel the shrimp inside of it. But you got a big portion in here. I think their concept is for food sharing not for 1 person only.


Cheese Buldak: IDR 84.9k

Guys, seriously i can't even this is so good i don't even know where to start! Okay first of all, the chicken is so tender and so well marinated with korean sauce. Then you get the cheese that's melted all over the chicken. It is so good! But i think it's kind of a little bit rip off since it's kinda pricey. But it's for sharing too, up to 2-3 person. By all of that, this is my recommended menu! Definitely worth to try.
